Happy Monday! Welcome back to another week of distance learning. I hope you have been enjoying all of God's beauty outside.
Today we are going to begin working on Lesson 7.5 Multiplying Mixed Numbers by Whole Numbers. Before we begin I want you to look at a few different sources to remind you of strategies.
1. Go to the Everyday Math site and in the Tutorials tab go to pages 175 & 176. Look at the strategies and try to decide which one you like best.
2. Watch the link I have below and listen to the 2 strategies explained. They are both good, but I tend to lean toward the 2nd one because it is usually a little less involved. Also, ignore the lesson she mentions because the video is not our exact lesson number.

3. Watch my video working through a problem using my 2 favorite strategies.

Now that you have reviewed some complete journal pages 240-241. Make sure you show your work so you will have something to look at when your parent shows you the answer key.
Tongue Twister for the day:
No need to light a night-light on a light night like tonight.
